[Bug 1044598] [NEW] Grub does not mount raid 5

Public bug reported:

I boot from /dev/sda which contains win7, hp recovery, etc. My raid 5
is on /dev/sdb, /dev/sdc and /dev/sdf and is mounted as /media/data.
During the boot process Ubuntu halts with the message that there is no
/media/data and I normally press "S" to skip waiting. Then I need to
mount the disk either with a mount command in a terminal winds or the
Disk Utility. It would be great if grub could start and mount my raid 5.

** Affects: grub2 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
