Title:
Unable to boot up after installation no error reported just a blinking
cursor (Using IBM Blade HS21 - Video Card ATi ES1000)

Status in “grub” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
The installation process went perfectly well even using LVM or normal
  ext3 partition.

The only problem that we encounter is after restarting the server, we
are using IBM Blade HS21 on IBM S Chassis Blade (ATi ES 1000), SAS
  Drive.

All local and network drive found and reformatted as ext3.

After restarting it doesnt boot up only a blinking cursor shows up.

  Even tried the x64 version.

The weird part of this is SUSE works perfectly well. We also tried
Debian latest release and Several version of Ubuntu both x86 and x64,
the installer process is ok the only problem is after the restart
process. it cant boot. just a blinking cursor
