  Monitor powers off with DPMS disabled

Status in “acpi-support” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After upgrading to Gutsy Gibbon on an emachine s-1940 the power
  management does not work correctly. I have it set to never shut down
  the monitor but after appropriately   ten minutes the screen powers
  down. As soon as I move the mouse the screen comes back alive.
