Title:
Wireless network not detected during installation

Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
The amd64+mac Alternate installation CD detects the wireless interface
but is unable to use it to get an IP address via DHCP.

The PowerPC alternate CD from the same date detects the wireless
network and is able to use it. The installation process for AMD64+mac
should be able to detect and use the wireless just like the PPC
  version does.
