Public bug reported:
Desktop installation runs normally until the end. When the system is
shutting down and preparing to reboot, it segfaults.

cat: /sys/block//removable: No such file or directory
Please remove installation media and close the tray (if any) then press ENTER:

Pressing ENTER does not work nor pressing other keys. These only bring
up garbage onto the screen. Same for the power button, but if held long
enough it does power down the machine.
