  update manager very slowly removes installed packages after install

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  When there is a large number of updates reported via the update-
  manager and you shoose to install them all, they are removed from the
  list one at a time very slowly after all packages have been installed.
  This happend frequently as I keep my 12.04 Beta up-2-date.
