[Bug 946845] [NEW] nautilus crashed with signal 7 in pango_shape()

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Nautilus was frozen after updating an existing font.

Steps:
1) Copy the TTF font file to /usr/share/fonts/truetype/<an additional folder/ using sudo in Terminal
2) Force update of the font cache (sudo fc-cache -vf)
3) The opened Nautilus window would freeze and then Apport comes up for the crash

Expected behavior:
Nautilus should not crash upon a manual font update/or a force update of font cache.
