Even when it was in g-c-c you had to launch it from another application
(g-c-c) , even then you didn't know the name of the application you were
using. Now software-properties is reachable from update-manager in the
settings section so the behavior seems about the same to me.

Since removed from g-c-c it can only be launched by opening another application or via alt+f2.
Expected to find it in dash as it is with Oneiric.
Solved. 0.82.4 is displayed in dash.
