I did install Ubuntu 11.10 back on the same HW without a problem and I
am using it daily without any problems. The hardrive is IBM SDD drive.
12.04 also had hard time downloading the 11.10 image without crc errors
and in the end I used other computer to do it.
I can boot to 12.04 from USB stick and do tests. Any suggestions on
what to run?
