The bot asks for a package name ... well, many packages feel responsible
for /etc. Anyways, maybe blaming hostname(1) puts more visibility on
this bug.

** Package changed: ubuntu => hostname (Ubuntu)

Title:
Ubuntu 12.04 Beta1 AMIs have wrong permissions in /etc

Status in “hostname” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
The packaging process of the EC2 AMIs for 12.04 seems to be containing
errors, as /etc is group-writeable, and two files (hostname, hosts)
have bad ownership and insecure permissions.

This does not occur on a regular -server installation, but can be
observed on (at least) AMI ami-7b152c0f (eu-west-1).

  # ls -la /etc
  total 788
  drwxrwxr-x 86 root root 4096 Mar 2 17:44 .
  [...]
  -rw-r--r-- 1 ubuntu ubuntu 18 Mar 2 17:44 hostname
  -rw-rw-r-- 1 ubuntu ubuntu 221 Jan 9 08:47 hosts
