I might as well note: I marked it a duplicate of bug 1024204, since the
errors in the log were the same as that.  There were some problems in
python3-defaults that recently that showed a couple of different
symptoms.  Most of them are at bug 1024016.  I haven't marked the
reports with different error messages as duplicates of that one, but I
think they're all connected to the same problems and fixes.  Thanks.
