Title:
libapt-pkg.so.4.11.0 segfault during initial system installation
  (ubiquity)

Status in “apt” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I'm doing a simple install to 2 xfs partitions. At first I was trying
to keep /home unformatted, but the installer would crash at the same

this partition, but I'm still experiencing the crash.
