Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gparted

  iam filing bug for my fellow launchpad friend who has posted a
  question for the against the same check this question#145552,it has
  images and information also.fdisk -l and disk utility displays
  information about partitions but gparted doesnt display anything.so he
  is asking how to continue to installation,i dont have a clue how to
  solve the problem,also i got the same issues in the past i simply
  deleted one of my partition and fixed errors with windows xp software
  called partition magic
