I'm getting the same behaviour from a 10.04.3 image.

I've attached a screenshot. This is exactly what I was seeing in the
10.04.4 testing iso.

Both drives are visible in the window, but I don't see any way to choose
which one to use.

Title:
Only one internal harddrive selectable during install

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I recently installed ubuntu 11.10.

In my computer I had two harddrives:
  1. 60 GB SATA3 SSD with Windows 7
  2. 1TB SATA2 ordinary harddrive empty

When I chose install alongside Windows, only option 2 was selectable
in dropdown menu, so I had to disconnect it and reboot to be able to
select option 1. Both were selectable in advanced option though so
it's that the computer didn't recognize the SSD disc the first time
  around.
