Would it be possible for you to check this on the 10.04.3 images?

I. e. is this a regression since 10.04.3, or has this bug existed all
the time in 10.04 LTS?

Thanks!

Title:
Only one internal harddrive selectable during install

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I recently installed ubuntu 11.10.

In my computer I had two harddrives:
  1. 60 GB SATA3 SSD with Windows 7
  2. 1TB SATA2 ordinary harddrive empty

When I chose install alongside Windows, only option 2 was selectable
in dropdown menu, so I had to disconnect it and reboot to be able to
select option 1. Both were selectable in advanced option though so
it's that the computer didn't recognize the SSD disc the first time
  around.
