... and it all goes downhill from there.

In short, this means that there's been a problem reading from the CD.
This is generally due to a faulty CD/DVD disk or drive, rather than
being an installer bug as such. It may help to clean the CD/DVD, to
burn the CD/DVD at a lower speed, or to clean the CD/DVD drive lens
(cleaning kits are often available from electronics suppliers).

Title:
  Crash during install

Status in The Linux Mint Distribution:
  Triaged
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I was trying to reinstall Mint Isadora 9 in order to setup the Home
folder in a seperate partition on the disk. I defined a new partition
and set its type to Home.

The system was running from a CD. When it crashed I could not print.
copy or save the error report but manager to photograph the screen. I
  also saved the required logs.

I repeated the attempted re-install and the error repeated at exactly
the same point as the first time.

I have attached both log files as requested by the system and a photo
of the screen all zipped. Hope these make it.
