[Bug 924538] Re: Failed to install all packages selected in Edubuntu according to error popup

The ubiquity syslog seems truncated, I also noticed a few stacktraces
that seem related to font configuration and langpacks installation.
Having done an identical install for alpha-2 testing (Edubuntu amd64
with Unity, no LTSP and all packages), I didn't see this problem, but
the syslog clearly points to a few installation issues, though not too
clearly to be able to figure if they are the reason of the failure.

Title:
Failed to install all packages selected in Edubuntu according to error
popup
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Doing an install of 64bit Edubuntu Precise Alpha 2 on a VBox VM.
During the install, I chose defaults for pretty much everything. This
means that during package selection, I did NOT choose the Gnome
Fallback desktop, I did NOT install 3rd party stuff or updates, and I
DID leave selected all the various Edubuntu package options.
At the end of install, I got a popup dialog that said that some
packages had failed to install, but no "More" link or any way to
really see which packages had failed.
I'm hoping they'll end up in the attached logs.
