I don't see anything in the attached logs indicating what went wrong.
I don't believe bug 924182 is entirely relevant the system ended up
getting the package lists from the archive.

Title:
Failed to install all packages selected in Edubuntu according to error
popup
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Doing an install of 64bit Edubuntu Precise Alpha 2 on a VBox VM.
During the install, I chose defaults for pretty much everything. This
means that during package selection, I did NOT choose the Gnome
Fallback desktop, I did NOT install 3rd party stuff or updates, and I
DID leave selected all the various Edubuntu package options.
At the end of install, I got a popup dialog that said that some
packages had failed to install, but no "More" link or any way to
really see which packages had failed.
I'm hoping they'll end up in the attached logs.
