[Bug 1089747] Re: Need setting to disable "Display-Recent-Files" for Dash's File-Lens

Here's another example of why this is a problem.

I have a folder called "gPodder" that holds downloaded podcasts. When I
first subscribe to a podcast, a jpg image is often placed in a subfolder
of the gPodder folder. The jpg image usually shows a picture of the
podcast's host or something like that.

If I tap Super+F and type GPOD with the intention of opening the gPodder
folder, this is what I get:

RECENT
folder.jpg folder.jpg folder.jpg folder.jpg folder.jpg folder.jpg folder.jpg folder.jpg folder.jpg folder.jpg

FOLDERS
gPodder Subscription-1 Subscription-2 Subscription-3 Subscription-4 Subscription-5 Subscription-6 Subscription-7

Why is there a RECENT heading with useless folder.jpg files being presented? I never open the folder.jpg files, so why are they even showing up as RECENT? When I search for gPodder, it would be nice for it to show up as the FIRST result in the Dash so that I can just hit ENTER and open the folder. Instead I get useless "folder.jpg" files under an even more useless RECENT heading.

Can you guys please put this on the agenda to be fixed?

Title:
Need setting to disable "Display-Recent-Files" for Dash's File-Lens

Status in “dash” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
A setting exists in 12.04 to disable the display of "Recent Apps" for
  the Applications Lens: dconf-editor > desktop > unity > lenses >
  applications > display-recent-apps

but there is no corresponding seting to disable the display of Recent
Files in the Files-Lens. There should be a setting in the files-lens
to disable the display of "Recent Files": dconf-editor > desktop >
  unity > lenses > files > [display-recent-files]

When I hit Super+F, I'm always stuck with Recent files & folders
clogging up my dash. For this reason I always end up using the HOME
option instead. It would be nice to be able to use the Files Lens
without having to put up with the accumulation of Recent documents.
