Title:
plymouthd crashed with SIGSEGV in _int_free()
Status in “plymouth” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
Binary package hint: plymouth
Using '~$ sudo update-manager -d' I upgraded from 9.10 to 10.04 Beta2. I could not boot the 2.6.32-20-generic kernel but the 2.6.31-20-generic kernel when I deleted in the kernel command line "vga=0x031a" and appended "single".
There this error message appeared.
Virtual console keeps repeating to write: "Buffer I/O error, dev fd0, sector 0; end_request:I/ O error, dev fd0 sector 0." although in the BIOS Legacy Floppy Drives is not listed in Startup > Boot.
