Title:
rsyslogd-2039: Could no open output pipe '/dev/xconsole' [try
http://www.rsyslog.com/e/2039 ]
Status in “rsyslog” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
/var/log/syslog reports: Aug 20 13:27:29 T61 rsyslogd-2039: Could no open output pipe '/dev/xconsole' [try http://www.rsyslog.com/e/2039 ]'
The package x11-apps is installed. /usr/bin/xconsole exists. Why does there not exist /dev/xconsole?
Why does there not exist a process rsyslogd?
