Bug description:
  /var/log/syslog reports: Aug 20 13:27:29 T61 rsyslogd-2039: Could no open output pipe '/dev/xconsole' [try http://www.rsyslog.com/e/2039 ]'
  The package x11-apps is installed. /usr/bin/xconsole exists. Why does there not exist /dev/xconsole?
  Why does there not exist a process rsyslogd?
