[Bug 873755] [NEW] Ubuntu 11.10 upgrade fails

How do I get to /var/logs to attach the log files?  You guys have made
it impossible to actually browse my system directories.   You say
/var/log but how do I get there other than using the terminal?  You guys
should have something similar to Windows explorer.
