I now see that they have changed the info on
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PowerPCDownloads, 2 days ago it did not say
anything about it being a daily build. I am downloading 10.10 in the
meantime.

Installation failed because it could not find the Mirrorserver
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:

I was trying to install Ubuntu 11.10 (it actually says 12.04 LTS /
dont understand why) I got to about 15% of the system install when it
was trying to reach the mirrorserver, (I am connected to internet with
Ethernet cable) and it crashed. Tried it again with the same result.
