Yes, I meant that I installed natty on sda8 via live-usb stick and it is
a ext4 partition.

here is the output of "sudo os-prober":

  I just installed oneiric on a second partition and run a grub update.
  This was the outcome:

  Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.38-8-generic
  Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-2.6.38-8-generic
  Found memtest86+ image: /boot/memtest86+.bin
  Found Windows Recovery Environment (loader) on /dev/sda3
  Found MS-DOS 5.x/6.x/Win3.1 on /dev/sda8
  done

  but on sda8 there is another ubuntu version installed, namely 11.04.
