Title:
Ubiquity froze with InfiniteLoop in copy_all()

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I just recently tried installing Ubuntu from a Live USB (with an
updated installer) and when the installer got to the "Copying files"
stage (as in the 'copy_all()' function) it suddenly froze (did
nothing) -- and for that matter, froze __without consuming any CPU__
-- definitely something an infinite loop would do.
