Title:
Installer will not continue if external USB HDD is plugged in
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
In the Maverick Beta, installation is not possible when an external
USB HDD is plugged in. The installer will get stuck at the screen that
can be seen in the attached screenshot. Once the HDD is removed, the
installation will continue.
As many people have their USB HDD plugged in as they have made back-
ups before starting the installation, I propose to set this to high
priority.
PS: I could not find any file "syslog"
