Is this still an issue? I am unable to reproduce this with an up-to-date
lucid...

Title:
sshfs does not mount remote filesystems after upgrading libfuse2 to
  2.8.4-1ubuntu1.3

Status in “fuse” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Ubuntu version: 10.10
  libfuse version: 2.8.4-1ubuntu1.3
After the latest upgrade (including libfuse2) I am unable to mount any remote filesystems via sshfs
When running sshfs with -o debug_sshfs it displays the following:
  SSHFS version 2.2
  executing <ssh> <-x> <-a> <-oClearAllForwardings=yes> <-2> <parkanyi at 195.228.96.130> <-s> <sftp>
  Server version: 3
  Extension: posix-rename at openssh.com <1>
  Extension: statvfs at openssh.com <2>
  Extension: fstatvfs at openssh.com <2>

  sent: 0 messages, 0 bytes
  received: 0 messages, 0 bytes
  rtt min/max/avg: 0ms/0ms/0ms
  num connect: 1

What I noticed is that the line "FUSE library version: 2.8.4" is
  missing (or empty)
