Okay, actually the problem is that python module links with libpython,
what should not be the case, fix commited.

** Changed in: rpm (Ubuntu)

Title:
  python-rpm requires both libpython2.6 libpython2.7

Status in “rpm” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rpm

This causes python2.6 to be installed, even when the rest of the packages are content with using python 2.7.
Is this a mistake in packaging?
