Hello Brian,

There is very little the developers can do to help you without
information as to exactly what went wrong with the install process.

Could you please attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to this
bug, following the directions in
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs?
