Firefox query

Simple question. On Lucid x86_64, is firefox running as a 64bit app?  The
firefox command is /usr/bin/firefox which seems to run firefox from
/usr/lib/firefox-version.  On RHEL, the firefox script uses either lib64 or
lib based on the output from uname -m so it clear that a 64 bit version is
being used. I'm not certain that a 64 bit version is running on lucid
though. both the 32 and 64 bit versions seem to exist.
