Well ... I'm not sure why that would be needed as I'm not using nis but ldap
and the passwd file.  I did forget to restart nscd but ... it is all moot at
this point as my brand new server can't find the disk drives/Raid array
anymore.  I used the ext4 filesystem and had a similar issue with my other
32bit server. That I corrected by going back to ext3. I'll re-install with
ext3 and try again.  There are some comments that ext4 has trouble with some
hardware, and maybe I'm just one of those lucky few.
