LDAP Server and Authentication & Samba Domain

Did you create accounts on the Samba/LDAP server?  Read the section on the
wiki about adding users.  There's a whole section on how to add users in
bulk and so forth.  Tell us more about your setup.  Normally a Samba/LDAP
server is a separate server from the application server, but you can run
it on an app server....just be aware that smbldap users are not regular
system users....you cannot add them using the Add Users panel in gnome.
