well, given the fact that the front site alone has over 30MB graphics
(yes, there is no image thats smaller than 1.2M) thats not really a
surpise. it simply takes some time to shovel such amount of data through
the net and you surely dont want to look at this site from a dialup line
(but then you wont even see any FF crashes unless you have the patience
to wait a week for it loading :)). i wonder why they use jpeg at all :)
with that compression rate they could have taken bmp or tiff in raw
format :)
