I think you got the howto further on in the thread.

One thing I noted was that these rather ordinary-looking pages have
crashed[1] the patched granparadiso browser several times. You might want
to test them when you build yours.

Either the patch isn't too stable, or the firefox-granparadiso package
isn't.

Maybe, but how difficult it is to do and how firefox will perform is hard
to say -- on most ordinary pages, there has been little or no speed
difference since the patch, but image heavy ones seem a little more
trouble.  I guess dropping that timeout value to something like 200 (0.2
sec) would come close to no caching.

Bear in mind that the granparadiso package adds itself independent of
firefox.  I don't think you'll be able to remove the firefox v2 package.
