Can the Server CD be used to setup clients?

With 96MB of RAM the Desktop PPC CD is not going to work. You are going to
have to use the Xubuntu PowerPC CD to get a working environment that will
let you compile the boot environment for an Imac. This and the lack of
instructions for so doing rules out Edubuntu for many schoools in the U.S.
You might want to checkout Skolelinux which appears to have a much simpler
installation process for PPC:
