I've already moved to gutsy

hello everybody,

I have moved to gutsy on four computers now: one laptop dell d610, one  
selfmade low-end computer (partly used as thin client, 600MHz) and one  
workstation dell d270 and a noname AMD 1700+ computer.

I am very much impressed of the increased speed, especially in the  
LTSP environemnt. I have bootet my low-end machine and it starts much  
faster than before. I start it over the powerline (using devolo  
adapters), so it is slow anyway. Also nautilus and gimp and open  
office start faster.

printing does work much better. I can now print to our xerox machines  
at work which did not produce proper results in the past.

but I also noticed some problems, where a screen of an application  
would be completely black except the title bar. when you close the  
window, and restart the app it comes up just normal.

hope you all have similar experiences. these imporvements will help me  
very much in school and will benefit the kids in our linux classes.
