testing new ldm with out encryption

It's real easy to tell if X is being tunneled through SSH.

After logging in, pop up an xterm (or gnome-terminal or kconsole) and do:

     echo $DISPLAY


If the DISPLAY comes back as something like:

      localhost:10.0

That means that your X session is being proxied by something locally 
(SSH in this case).

If you aren't tunnelling through SSH, you'll see something more like:

     ws009:0.0

Which means it'll send the X packets directly to the thin client
