Chinese language and script support

Have you installed some chinese fonts? 

If not, you can do it easily with synaptic, look for ttf-arphic packages
(there are a few different fonts available), then restart firefox. 

If you want to type chinese, that is a bit more complicated, but if you
need help doing it, email back.
