pulseaudio: volume control ?

Am I to understand you don't have the fancy volume applet loaded in the upper right hand
corner of the screen (just to the left of the clock)?  The default install should have
that.  To me this is what makes the Edubuntu version so cool compared to previous
versions of LTSP, "users" can actually change their volume on the fly with this handy
applet.  If you don't have the applet loading, add it manually.

Right click the panel
Choose add to panel
scroll through the list and under "System & Hardware" select "Volume Control" then click
"Add".

Now you'll have the cool applet loaded.
