Network Manager a positive?

Hi Gavin,
Yikes! I've had nothing but problems using Network Manager. (Example: Assign
a static IP to a NIC, unplug the patch cable and NW negotiates a zeroconf
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero-configuration>IP in the 169.254.x.xrange)

Are you finding it's become more stable in the 7.04 beta?
