If you need to filter messages from this list, you can filter on the
existence of this header:

	X-BeenThere: edubuntu-users at lists.ubuntu.com

as it is added by the mailing list software, it's pretty much equivalent to
what you suggest above (although it's a little less obvious to the eye).
