Gcompris broken?

edubuntu-6.06 -- the current stable one?  That's pretty strange.

suggests you run a command line and type:

	gcompris -x

though I've no idea from here what that actually does.

Are those computers all the same hardware or all different?  I'm
particularly thinking of the video card.  Can you tell us which one it is
(lspci on each machine should give details)?

Not sure but if you get bounced out of your session, you might like in your
home directory at the file .xsession-errors to see does some error appear
there.  You might also look in /var/log/Xorg.0.log and see is there any
error in there.
