I've talk 3 or 4 times, and it seems to me that it's better understood
when you /end/ the presentation with philosophy and history. Only when
the "but, i can do that with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Word and
M..." is raised). People prefere to talk "real-life" part before the
"cognitive" part. So I'd suggest you to begin with the demo, with
"real-life" documents (their/your courses notes, points, ...), in many
themes (history, first/second language, math, chemistry, ...), answer
their questions, and have a philosophy and history slide at the end of
the presentation.

I'm sorry, I haven't got my slides here (and they're in french)...
