Time resets on reboot

Ubuntu systems generally run ntp on boot, setting their clocks against an
online server.  This is presumably what's causing your problem.  It sounds
like your system time zone is set wrong.  Try running:

	sudo /usr/sbin/tzconfig

and see what the timezone is.  If it's wrong, correct it, reboot and you
should have a correct clock.
