(15-Oct-2009 01:32 2.4G Install/live DVD for 64-bit PC (AMD64)
computers (standard download))

I did one installation in real machine (AMD64/Nvidia) with usb stick.

admin-edu at edubuntu:~$ dmesg | grep CPU
[ 0.121003] CPU0: AMD Athlon(tm) Processor LE-1640 stepping 03

admin-edu at edubuntu:~$ lspci
00:12.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation C68 [GeForce 7050
PV / nForce 630a] (rev a2)

I can test that later today/tomorrow.

I did 3) 4) and found some serious problems. I'm quite experienced user,
so I fixed Grub2, NVidia and Finnish packages after installation
(network/internet is OK). There was no LTSP packages after installation,
so I installed them and build chroot after installation. Now thin client
works.

admin-edu at edubuntu:~$ cat /var/log/auth.log | grep edu001
Oct 15 11:04:18 edubuntu sshd[2299]: Accepted password for edu001 from
192.168.1.200 port 52687 ssh2
Oct 15 11:04:18 edubuntu sshd[2299]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session
opened for user edu001 by (uid=0)

I removed edubuntu-server, Moodle and postgresql packages totally - I
try them later, too.

----

I can test some more with KVM virtual machine later today/tomorrow.

Best Regards Asmo Koskinen.
