Hi,
The oldest pc machine we have for our project is:
PC Celeron 333mhz, 128MB, 4.3GB Hard disk (256MB for swap), S3 4MB
Video card, 3COM LAN card, Sampo 14" monitor, NTC serial keyboard, MS
PS2 mouse. No CD-ROM drive, no usb port, no speaker (not even an
internal).
Given the hardware restrictions, any advise which packages I need to remove?
So far I have been using xubuntu-desktop, uninstalled packages related
to sounds, cd burning, mirrored a few interesting webpages like the
Wikipedia SOS CD, CIA factbook and Vanishing Treasure of the
Philippines. Now the total available space is only 752 MB
I feel I need to free up space by another 500MB (at least). Which
packages should I remove? I have been wary of removing packages with
some dependencies for Gnome (i.e. GAIM, cdrecord, etc.).
You can view the package list here:

Thanks!
Maning
