That's a really good idea, and very commendable. I had no desire to
pooh-pooh any such activities - indeed, I have a small group of friends
who keep me supplied with needful things on CD and DVD, including this
year's hockey play-offs. 8^)
But ultimately, a more sustainable approach is to engage this problem on
a programmatic level, and to work with NGOs and governments to address
the fundamental issues of education and communications capacity.
