no sound in gcompris

Hi all, I'm having problams with GCompris.
I get sound through the terminal when I logon, ie the logon sound, but there
is no sound in GCompris.
I have added the
SOUND = True
in the lts.conf file. This is how I got the startup sound to work.
I've also tries starting gcompris with the -s switch with no luck.
The sound works on the server for gcompris and normal sounds.

Has anyone got any suggestions?
