Yes, we have some documentation scattered in tiny pieces all over the
place at the moment, we are working on making it more readable,
findable, and enjoyable :)

When you refer to sound and usb support, I assume you're talking about
support on the thin clients?

For sound, you need to create a file on the server
called /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf, and include the following in that
file:

  [default]
     SOUND = True

Local USB support isn't available out of the box yet, that is planned
for a later release.

Symbiont is meant for the LTSP you would download and install at
LTSP.org, as far as I know, you should stay clear of Symbiont in
Edubuntu at the moment.

How much memory does it currently have? As soon as an LTSP server goes
into lots of swap, things get very, very slow.

I know that some people use MToolsFM with K12LTSP to do this, I haven't
tried it yet so I can't give you exact advice on that at this stage.
